Buried Hill Energy was founded in 2002 with a corporate mandate to identify and deliver productive and profitable international oil and gas opportunities on behalf of our stakeholders.
To date, the Company has established two key areas of operation: Turkmenistan, in Central Asia and The Gambia, in West Africa. In 2006 the Company signed two deepwater offshore licences in The Gambia. In 2007, Buried Hill Energy secured a highly sought after production sharing agreement in Turkmenistan for the Block III Contract Area located offshore in the Caspian Sea.
