    Peter Kallos,
    Chief Executive Officer

    Before joining Buried Hill Energy in April 2010, Peter Kallos was Executive Vice President of Petro-Canada’s International and Offshore business. He was responsible for leading and growing Petro-Canada’s international portfolio and Eastern Canadian offshore business from 2003-2010. Previously Peter held numerous senior positions in the oil and gas sector including External Affairs Director of Shell Exploration and Production U.K. He spent 14 years at Enterprise Oil where his roles included member of Executive Committee as head of the Company’s U.K. North Sea business, Chief Executive of the Company’s Italian subsidiary, Business Development Manager responsible for acquisitions and disposals, and as a petroleum engineer. Peter began his career in 1982 as a Production Engineer with Marathon Oil and Carless Exploration.

    Hugh Leonard,
    Executive Vice President, Technical and Operations

    Mr. Leonard joined Buried Hill Energy in 2005. He has over twenty-five years of experience in the international exploration and production industry. Prior to joining Buried Hill Energy, Hugh was Vice President Acquisitions with PetroKazakhstan, a Central Asia-focused company. While employed for 12 years by Enterprise Oil plc he acted as New Business Manager (developing the company’s Russia strategy). While at Enterprise Hugh was seconded to work in Moscow as Executive Vice President of Khanty Mansiysk Oil Corporation (KMOC), a US independent operating in West Siberia. Hugh has also worked for Burmah Castrol Plc, Carless Petroleum Ltd, and Kelt UK Ltd. He has worked in the UK, West Africa, USA, Australia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Russia and Kazakhstan. Additional E&P experience includes sub-surface evaluation, commercial and financial reporting, HSEQ, and operations.

    Steve Ridlington,
    Chief Financial Officer

    Steve Ridlington joined Buried Hill on 1 June 2011 from Tabreed, an Abu Dhabi based listed utility company where he has been CFO for 2 years. Prior to that, Steve was deputy CFO and Treasurer for TNK-BP based in Moscow for 5 years. Steve came to the TNK-BP role after 16 years in various international financial roles for BP where he started in 1986 after being seconded from Government with HM Treasury, where he worked in the Economic Service for 5 years. His academic background is in economics with a BA in Economics and Mathematics from Sussex University and an MPhil in Economics from St Anthony’s College, Oxford.

    Andrew Wilson,
    Vice President Legal

    Mr. Wilson has over twenty years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Prior to joining Buried Hill Energy, Andrew was Legal Director International for Suncor Energy. Based in London he was responsible for international business legal affairs for the North Sea (UK, Norwegian and Dutch sectors) Libya, Syria and Trinidad & Tobago. From 2004 to 2009 Andrew was Assistant General Counsel International at Petro-Canada managing legal work for interests in Tunisia, Algeria and Venezuela, acquisitions and disposals in UK, Syria and the Netherlands, and projects in Russia, Libya and Syria. Andrew has also been a legal advisor for Nexen and has worked at Baker Botts. As head of legal at Enterprise Oil for 14 years he worked on UKCS and international upstream development, asset and corporate acquisitions and disposals and negotiation of licence and concession terms with governments and state oil companies. He also advised on UK and US listings issues and competition and anti-bribery compliance and managed legal work for equity and debt initial public offerings in the US. Andrew is a member of the Oil and Gas and OGP Legal Committees and formerly Chairman of the UKOOA Legal Committee.

    Lindsay Brown,
    Technical Director

    Prior to joining Buried Hill Energy in August 2010, Mr. Brown held a series of positions in Petro-Canada's International and Offshore business; Regional Manager for Northern Latin America, Senior Director Technology, Director of Business Planning and Manager of Production and Reservoir Engineering. Previously Lindsay had international exposure with Lasmo as Drilling Manager and then Subsurface Manager in Venezuela, Lasmo-Eni as Asset Manager in Pakistan and Addax Petroleum as Gas Manager in Switzerland and Nigeria. Mr. Brown also spent twenty years with BP in a variety of technical and managerial positions based in Aberdeen, London, Tunisia, Egypt and Venezuela. Lindsay has a mechanical engineering background and started his career as a wireline logging engineer with Schlumberger working in the Middle East.

    Bryn O'Shaughnessy,
    Manager, Commercial and Marketing

    Mr. O'Shaughnessy has over twenty years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Prior to joining Buried Hill Energy in September 2007, Bryn was Director Asset Origination for BP Canada Energy. In that capacity he was responsible for business development and commercial opportunities around BP’s Eastern Canadian and U.S. assets. He successfully structured and negotiated long term gas transportation and storage positions for BP and entered into long term gas supply arrangements with U.S. northeast utilities and Canadian power generators. He was also involved in working groups evaluating the Alaska and Mackenzie Delta pipelines and Canadian LNG projects. Bryn has also been employed at Paramount Resources, Summit Resources, Petro-Canada, Gulf Canada and Amerada Hess. Bryn was also a sessional instructor in Oil and Gas Marketing at the University of Calgary’s Haskayne School of Business for seven years.

    Group Financial Controller

    Peter joined Buried Hill in February 2011, prior to that Peter has held a number of senior upstream finance roles with Halliburton, Chevron, Dragon Oil, BP, Cairn Energy and Quad Energy throughout the last twenty years; within Russia/FSU, South and South East Asia, North Africa and ME regions.
